Episode 1: Hot Air Balloon Ride Over Nashville

This is the first episode of the Project Go Girl video series; a cross-country adventure from Nashville, TN. to Los Angeles, CA. 

I love good food, conversations, art, music, nature, and adventure. This is a story of a young woman meandering across the United States, and the stories of people all over America with passion and love for what they do and where they live.  Follow my adventure from Music City to Hollywood and explore some of the best there is to do, see, and eat in our beautiful country. This is Project: Go Girl.

It is 5 A.M. on a Saturday morning. Not my normal waking time, but this Saturday is different than my usual. I am in Nashville and the temperature is in the low 30′s. I am going on  a hot air balloon ride today. I have never been in a hot air balloon before and heights make me a little uneasy. I am a little nervous, but this is good. I am trying to challenge myself daily to do a few things that make me uncomfortable, and be okay with it.  Today, Bob Grimes and his team at Ace High Ballooning are taking me on an adventure. It is not every weekend that I have a chance to drift up to the heavens, watch the world become small and stay beautiful below me, all while being warmed by a sunrise. This was an experience I will savor for the rest of my life. Hope you enjoy the show!
